NEW DANCE CLASSES with Cora Turner AUTUMN –WINTER 2011
Below you will find the information for all the classes given by Cora Turner , it is important to contact us before turning up for the class since some classes might be fully booked or not allowing drop- in students. Corinne Turner currently gives classes in Sliema, Fgura, Swieqi , Mellieha and Blata il-Bajda. Below you will also find information regarding private sessions . Belly Dance Classes Fgura Classical Egyptian 1 – Beginners Course focuses on Classical Egyptian technique and movements and in the last 3 sessions you will also learn a dance which will be used in the Artemocion shows ! Every Tuesday at 6pm Fee: €55 for 10 sessions of one hour each. Swieqi Baladi and Milaya Leff Course – Classical Egyptian for Advanced students Course to learn further Baladi Techniques and to learn how to use the Alexandrian Milaya Leff in Baladi performances. Course focuses on technique however combinations to be used in a choreography will also be covered . Tuesday at 8pm Fee: €52 for 8 sessions of one hour each Sliema Classical Egyptian 1 Beginners : Every Wednesday at 7pm-8pm Starting on the 5th October Fee: €40 for 6 sessions of one hour each Mellieha Belly Dance for teens ! Wednesday at 4.30pm Fee: €32 for 6 sessions of one hour each Blata l-Bajda Classical Egyptian belly dance at Malta Drama Centre A 2 hour session involving one hour and a half of Arabic Belly Dance technique : covering basic movements , postures and isolations followed by half an hour of education of belly dance history, styles and formation. The course will also include learning choreography to be used in shows and events. Monday 6.30pm - 8.30pm Starting in October All the belly dance classes are paid in advance however if you miss a lesson you can replace it with another belly dance lesson . Our replacement system will be explained during the first lesson. CoraTurner and Artemocion CARE FOR THE STUDENT and we want you to have the full amount of bellydance hours that you paid for. PRIVATE SESSIONS AND TAILOR MADE PROGRAMMES FOR INDIVIDUALS Don’t have time for classes? Cora Turner can fix private lessons to suit your personal time-table and learn belly dance in a tailor-made programme to fit your needs and schedule. Private belly dance rates: In Mellieha : €12 per hour If you are in 2 your private lesson will cost &euro 20 ( &euro 10 each) Jazz and Modern Dance classes Modern Dance : Jazz and Street Jazz (similar to Hip Hop) Juniors Jazz lessons are paid per lesson . €4 per lesson Jazz and Street Jazz for Teens: Saturday at 9.30am Jazz and Street Jazz Senior Kids: Saturday at 10.30am Jazz for young children: Saturday at 11.30am Private sessions for solo choreographies to be used in shows are also available . Jazz Private lessons fee is €8 for each lesson of one hour . A shared private lesson with a friend costs €12 . A private lesson shared by 3-4 students costs €5 per person. ARTEMOCION NEWS! Summer Creative Workshop with Davinia Turner! Where children really get to enjoy their summer and learn crafts, singing , dancing, acting , cooking and have a great time with special outings and activities!
This year the children even performed in shows in Mellieha in the fields of singing and dancing!
Corinne featured in so many news papers this summer including her new courses at Malta Drama Centre. Corinne has been chosen to give the courses for Classical Egyptian dance at Malta Drama Centre, the courses will lead to a Diploma from the MDC. For more info of the related press releases join her

Variety of shows including Puttinu Cares,Iljieli Melliehin, Malta Oricultural event, Mellieha feast shows, Maraskala Event , UHM festival. Moreover The Artemocion dancers were once again busy with many private events including Lebanese Halfas, Arab weddings, Hen’s parties specials .
CORA TURNER IN SPAIN FOR INTERNATIONAL BELLY DANCE FESTIVAL
Corinne Turner (Cora) attended the International Belly Dance Festival at Banyoles, Spain. Cora has attended workshops for Baladi Technique and choreography, Sharki,Turkish Oriental and also Romani Karsilama!
